I thought id make a post about these two projects i have recently finished and why im not gonna stick them in my portfolio at the moment.

Love Ableton.

Love Ableton is a blog i started a year or so ago, to provide ableton user’s a place to view articles, tutorials and resources related to Ableton Live. After not posting on the blog for a few months, i decided to go back to it and start again with a fresh redesign.

I used David Desandro’s Jquery Masonry as the framework for the site and built a wordpress theme around it.
The reason im not gonna put it in my porfolio just yet is i think the theme needs a bit more work and doesnt really work all that well on the site.

Once i make a new theme for loveableton i will officially relaunch the blog and put out the current theme for free download on this site.

Overtoun House.

Overtoun House is a christian centre based in Dumbarton, Scotland.
They asked me to redesign their website as the old one looked dated and had no form of information architecture what so ever. They had also experienced a database error causing half the sites content to go missing.

Being good friends with the people at Overtoun House, i done the site pro-bono as it would give me a chance to try out a few new techniques and plugins inside wordpress, specifically the flutter cms plugin.

The reason this site isnt making it into my portfolio yet is that i started to run out of time on the project and had to quickly throw the page content together. Which i feel lets down the site slightly. I aim to go back soon and work on arranging the site content into a more organised way, until then i dont think the site is quite up to standard for my folio.

Just thought id post what im currently working on at the moment.

Cant wait to get these projects finished and onto bigger things!

Sorry Im Late is an amazing short film by Tomas Mankovsky shot in full stop motion.
He ran some test’s in his living room to figure it all out and then once ready moved on to a huge hall in London.

Very cool & deffo worth the watch.

Im currently changing the backend of my site, so that it is easier to update my portfolio.
So if my blog looks a bit dodgy for a while, thats why!
